In summer, this is very easy in Tux-Finkenberg: Due to the ideal altitude, the Tuxertal is the perfect starting point for fantastic summer hikes. Whether a leisurely hiking tour to one of the managed huts, a challenging mountain tour or bike & hike, everything can be individually designed.
More than 350 km of hiking trails in a vast natural landscape are to be hiked in Tux-Finkenberg - and each with its own character: leisurely walks, TUX-Welten for families, high-altitude trails to romantic alpine pastures & huts and high-alpine trails lead past crystal clear mountain lakes, over fragrant flower meadows and through old mountain forests ... - Tux-Finkenberg has everything the hiking and outdoor heart desires!
To give mountain hiking a special charm, we have placed stamps along the hiking routes. The stamp with destination and altitude information remains a memory of unforgettable tours. A certain number of stamps is required for each hiking pin. Have fun collecting them!
Bike tours in the Tux Mountains
From a beginners tour to challenging mountain bike trails – get up high in Tux-Finkenberg at the end of the valley. A divine mountain panorama and a view of the striking Olperer summit are part of each tour. Experience the Tuxertal valley by bike from its most beautiful angle. Ride on the numerous cycling paths and mountain bike trails amidst Tux-Finkenberg impressive nature.
Particularly popular: Bike & Hike - with a e-mountainbike you first go comfortably up to the mountain pasture and then in hiking boots to the top of the mountain peak - a perfect combination.
The idea behind it:
the long forest road is comfortably overcome with the e-mountainbike and the last climb to the mountain top is done on foot. After a unique summit experience, it's back to the valley on an e-mountain bike.
